Early ice is available now for group 1& 2 skaters on October 13th beginning at 5:15pm. There will also be skate fitting beginning at 6pm.

Group 4 (learn to skate). 5:15 – 5:45.
Group 3 (learn to speed skate). 5:15 – 6:00

Payment arrangements will be discussed with parents on October 17th.
Dryland Training
September 12th, 15th, 19th and 22nd at the rink. 5:30pm until 6:30pm. Wear comfortable sports wear and shoes, and don’t forget the water!

March Practice Information
March 14 a night of games and races from 5:15 to 6pm for groups
normally on the ice at that time. A normal practice from 6:15-7:45
for the older group.
March 17 – normal practices
March 21 a family skate from 5:15 to 6pm. Maybe with hot chocolate
and timbits!!!
March 21 a Relay Challenge practice from 6:pm to 7:45.
March 24 – last practice for this season!!!!!
Hampton 2022 Meet ncellation
Hampton Speed Skating Club has made the decision to ncel our March meet this year. We are facing obstacles with Covid restrictions related to the size of our rink and common areas and changing rooms. ?
Hoping we n get this all behind us and looking forward to a good season next year!?
Reminder February 7th all skaters return to the ice!
Regular practice schedule resumes on Monday. Younger skaters on the ice at 5:15pm. Older skaters off the ice at 7:45pm.

Ice Time Update
Skaters will be returning to the ice on Monday the 31st of January. To ease the transition back onto the ice, please see the schedule below:
Competitive skaters in Groups 1 and 2 and Peter’s Monday night group will return on January 31st and February 3rd. Ice time is from 5:15pm until 6:45 pm.
All skaters will return on February 7th with Learn to Skate Groups 3 and 4 on the ice at 5:15pm.
Atlantic Cup information
For those interested, please keep an eye on the SSNB lendar for information on the Atlantic Cup meet scheduled for February 5th and 6th 2022. Meet registration is not open and will depend upon Covid restrictions at that time.
St Croix Meet – Date change
The one day meet in St Croix has been rescheduled for February 19th. (Covid preutions pending). Please see the link below for more information. This is a great meet to start with if your child is new to speed skating! Families often stay at the Algonquin Hotel which is just up the hill from the rink.
